My name is Tiare, I’m a student from Lima, Peru and I’m finishing my 4th year of Digital Communication at CEU San Pablo University.
Something that has always been important to me is pouring parts of my identity into everything I do, school, work and art. I have a keen interest in films and reading and I’m constantly looking for new stories and perspectives, which is how I find most of my inspiration and what keeps me creatively curious and motivated.
Throughout my degree, I’ve gained knowledge in graphic design, digital marketing, creative writing, social media and communication strategy, web design, and user experience. I have participated in various academic and strategic projects, from launching marketing campaigns and creating websites to doing a radio show.
I would say I’m a creative person, I’m well organized, accountable with my time and responsibilities and most of all committed to my work. I like to work in projects that involve not only critical thinking skills and analysis but also visual and narrative creative freedom. Last year I did an Erasmus exchange in Rome, where I expanded not only my love for Italian food, scenery and culture, but also my education in communication, strategy, and design from a brand-new perspective.
I am currently key account manager at a corporate communication, where I manage the communication for various companies on LinkedIn and develop content strategies, speeches, press releases and corporate documents aligned with their objectives.
I want to pursue a career in communication and bring authenticity and storytelling with real meaning with me, which I feel is especially important nowadays given the decline in personal and original writing without the use of AI. I want to make an impact by staying human.
