I am Victoria Brujó de Liñán and I am twenty three years old. Being born on the 17th of July, 2000, makes me the oldest of four brothers who are twenty-one, twenty and five years old. I was born and raised in Madrid and I have lived here my whole life, except for two years of my life. Those two years I lived abroad were one in a small town called Caversham, an hour away from London, in a boarding school called Queen Anne’s School. The other year I lived abroad, was back in 2016, when I lived in a small village in Austria called St. Anton am Arlberg because I was working as a ski instructor.

I then came back to Spain to finish my studies, and graduated from school in 2019. I started a career in Business Administration and Data Science and dropped out of it in second year as I didn’t see any outcomes and found myself unhappy with the career. It was then when I realised that what I really enjoy and what makes me happy is the creative part of every enterprise, ‘branding’, communication and media related jobs, therefore, I started my new career in Digital Communication, which I will combine with a Masters in Marketing or something related to brands…

When I am older, I would truly love to work on branding, something related to brands, creating, launching and transforming an idea into something solid. Let's say you have the brilliant idea of creating a brand, what I love is you giving me the idea and me delivering, creating the logo, positioning the brand, working hand in hand with the brand, making that brand well known, wtc. Branding allows me to unleash my creativity. It provides a canvas where I can blend colours, typography, imagery, and language to construct narratives that resonate with audiences on an emotional level. This creative freedom fuels my passion and drives me to push the boundaries of conventional thinking. In essence, my love for branding stems from its blend of creativity, storytelling, strategy, and impact. It is a dynamic and ever-evolving field that, I believe, will allow me to express myself, connect with others, and make a meaningful difference in the world.

I enjoy pouring my creativity into social networking, using my hands to create new things and ‘‘squeezing my brain’’ to its fullest to develop new ideas. My mother is a sculptor and she creates sculptures in bronze, which also makes me enjoy using my hands and helping her create new pieces and developing, in paper and drawn, ideas for her new projects. The most distinctive part of my personality is my love for travelling, photography and music. Travelling makes me stay in peace with myself and it helps connect with my own thoughts and listen to myself, which takes me to also living silent times. When silence surrounds me, I start to connect with myself and understand the pathway I want to follow in life. Related to the aspect of travelling, I enjoy nature, discovering new things and, also, enjoying the landscape ahead of me.

Photography is a way of self-expression from my point of view; it shows someone’s true self, the way they interact with others, what are people’s likes and interests, their sense of aesthetics, how neat they are, how perfectionist and so on. Those are things that define how I am and all of them can be seen through my photographs. And music. I love music because it makes me listen to my feelings and actually feel them. As Hans Christian Andersen once said; ‘‘Where words fail, music speaks’’. Even though I am sometimes and mostly guided through the songs that my mind and heart asks me to in that moment, there are songs that never fail to be in my playlists.
