In my opinion, the technology changes the way that people act. For example using virtual reality, we could create an avatar of ourselves, which is very different from what we are in reality, and change the way in which we perceive the world. The human being is very complex, so nobody have yet managed to program an artificial person which can think. The person is an adventure and mystery.
In case of new technologies, once we were very reluctant about them, because we had perceived them as something new, bizarre and potentially dangerous. Now that view has changed and we are very optimistic about the new technologies.
It’s easy to create some small programs alone, but it’s very difficult to make and maintain a software at large scale, because software need to adapt to constantly changing conditions.
If we confer the power to the individuals, we should do more good than bad. Every element of the system could become the common standard. That have happened for example with the idea of archive and MIDI format.
Facebook, Google and other big companies are changing our culture and the way we live.

En mi opinión la tecnología cambia el modo como actúan las personas. Por ejemplo utilizando la realidad virtual, podemos crear avatar de nosotros que es muy diferente de lo que estamos en realidad y cambiar el modo como percibimos el mundo. El ser humano es muy complejo, así que aún nadie logró programar una persona artificial que puede pensar. La persona es una aventura y misterio.
En caso de tecnologías nuevas, anteriormente estábamos muy reluctantes sobre ellos porque percibamos ellos como algo nuevo, extraño y potencialmente peligroso. Ahora esto ha cambiado y estamos muy optimistas acerca de tecnologías nuevas.
Es fácil crear unos programas pequeños en soledad, pero es muy difícil crear y mantener software a gran escala, porque software necesita adaptarse constantemente a nuevas condiciones.
Sí conferíamos poder a los individuos, deberíamos hacer más bueno que malo. Cada elemento del sistema puede llegar a estándar común. Eso ha pasado por ejemplo con idea de archivo y formato MIDI.
Facebook, Google y otras empresas grandes están cambiando nuestra cultura y nuestro modo de vivir.
