Hi! My name is Ignacia Gil but everybody calls me Zaza. I’m 23 years old and I’m finishing my last year of Digital Communication at CEU San Pablo. I was born and raised in New York City and Connecticut in the US for the majority of my life; 13 years to be precise. Therefore, I can speak both Spanish and English fluently, as well as some French and Portuguese. I’ve always been very creative, ever since I was a little girl. So, it makes sense that I would end up in such a creative, and somewhat artistic, degree. As expected, my favorite subjects over during my entire college have included graphic design, branding, social media, and advertising. All of these have one thing in common: digital design. Whether it be for a magazine cover, an aesthetic and fun IG post, or an ad for a marketing campaign. Digital design is everpresent and that’s what I like the most.
While I finish my degree, I am also working at an interior design company called Hag Design. I would have never thought I would end up here as I truly have no previous studies in this area. However, I have been put in charge of the company’s IG account and I have become responsible for the creative aspect: creating flyers, portfolios, social media content, proposals… and the list goes on. I’ve also come to love the interior design aspect, especially the organization part of it as I’ve always been a bit of an organization freak.
I hope this Web Analytics course further develops my professional skills in the digital orb, as not only will they be helpful at my current workplace, but may also be essential for future jobs. I’m excited to learn and work with you all!
