In 1999, four experts in corporate communication wrote the Cluetrain Manifesto. This manifesto consists of 95 theses that study how the Internet has changed the behavior of companies and consumers, who are now connected. The document is published as a call to action for companies, which have to adapt to a new paradigm. Fredrick Levine, Christopher Locke, Doc Searls and David Weinberger defined how the future scenario of communication would be like and it has been fulfilled.
