The evolution of from the marketing of 360 degrees to the marketing of 6 degrees means more than we can imagine. Rephrasing a quote from the book I am reading now /”What we know matters, but who we are matters more” written by Brene Brown into her book with a title “Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead”/, “what you (brands) do matters, but who you are matters more”.
Nowadays, the brands seem to be like persons, and each of them has a tendency to be more “real and human”, takes care of each singular content with their communication action (because every time the brands post a photo or update its status, they are contributing, like persons, to its own digital personal image, brand), and do all their best for accurately informing their users, consumers, clients etc. and be attractive by them (inbound marketing). The brands to be successful today should understand all needs, wishes and demands of each of its clients and offer them the quality of all information, not it only quantity. Therefore, the services and/or the products created by its might be personalized and able to meet the above-mentioned standards.
Finally, I think the passing from the marketing of 360 degrees to the marketing of 6 degrees means the passing to the following action: the brands have to make their all clients dream with their eyes closed, but live their dreams with their eyes open.
