Marta Iceta BarberáParticipanteA clear example of gamification is the application of Kahoot! . This tool allows you to create questions with different answers so that players try to answer correctly. The score is based on the speed of the contestants and the number of correct answers they get. This tool is already implemented in education as we have been able to experience the students of this university in different subjects. This type of game is a clear example of gamification because it combines rankings and punctuation with learning and fun. It is an easy and entertaining way to educate and learn.
The reason why I choose this example is because I believe that its design is accurate and simple. It is striking with different colors but it does not have excessive elements that confuse users. It is easy to use, both to create the quizes and to participate in them. It uses different colors and sounds but has continuity throughout the game which helps the participants not to be confused with the answers or the way of playing.
Kahoot! Use competitiveness among students to motivate them to participate in the game. Teachers can do the quizes in class and even send them as homework assignments. It is a way to ensure that students learn and do their work for fun. In my opinion, Kahoot! It is a very useful tool, because from the experience itself, it is fun to participate and you learn a lot because you pay attention to the questions you have well and above all, remember the ones you did not have well due to the fact of not being successful. Thanks to the competitiveness it produces among the students, they try harder to try to guess the questions, create tension among the participants and also encourage the participation of all.
I therefore consider that the strategy carried out by Kahoot! It is right because it has proven to be effective for both teachers and students.

Marta Iceta BarberáParticipanteTechnology and social media have evolved throughput the years and keep doing so. This evolution has changed the way people relate to each other specially within the internet and social media. We have all become dependent on networks, technology, apps, devices… But how much good and bad do it have?
Personal relationships are increasingly technological rather than interpersonal. It is true that technology and its evolution have changed the world for the better, they have helped it to evolve, humanity has developed and even saved lives but if we stop to look at what happens on the internet, something that we have at hand every day Today and we load ocn us in our phones and computers, we can realize this change in human relations. Donate before there was freedom of expression now there are people behind the anonymous name that provide negative comments, that hurt, that attack others. Seen one by one, perhaps there are not many people who do it but if they are seen in groups, the mountain grows. What previously helped to express freely, now has turned against us. Not everything we see on the internet is real or true but some people have become so faithful in technology that they do think so.
In conclusion, even though not everything bout technology is bad, we must consider the bad part of it and not just ignore the fact that there actually is a bad side of it. We must maintain ourselves loyal to our values or beliefs even on the internet and always learn to respect each other’s. As it said right at the beginning of the chapter: “ You have to be somebody before you can share yourself”. -
