Carmen Arranz ÁlvarezParticipanteAdvertisers, following the longtail theory, will buy spaces in websites that have generic-like attributes to ensure fixed traffic. To reach a more specific audience, they will choose longtail websites.
Carmen Arranz ÁlvarezParticipante360º Marketing helps company/brand positioning in a global point of view. It is a strategy that promotes regulating actions from different sectors to obtain a positive outlook. Using SEO or SEM strategies would be an example of 360º Marketing. The use of different channels and media is also 360º Marketing.
On the other hand, I would say that 6º Marketing consists of a closer approach to marketing, focusing on P2P – therefore, being more specific to the user. Which is something that is very present nowadays. If 360º Marketing is at a global level, I feel like 6º Marketing circles a specific user, leaving completely aside Mass Marketing and centring on micro-segmentation.
Carmen Arranz ÁlvarezParticipanteLike María Legorburu said in her first post, I agree that blockchain will help to decentralize social media platforms and therefore give us more freedom. However, as I said in one of my previous replies, I do support the idea of the “millions of eyes watching us” being kind of a regulation system. Even if the idea is a bit utopic, I think blockchain will help eradicate criminal activity in social media.
Carmen Arranz ÁlvarezParticipanteWhen talking about social media, I guess blockchain could be used as a way to store user data – each block could contain information of the user (it would have to be verified first). This way, double profiling could be avoided since there cannot be two blocks with the same data.
