Intangible assets are those assets of a company that are not physically represented and are getting more and more relevance day by day. That is to say, the money or machinery that a company uses for its activity are tangible assets, while the recognition or value of the brand would be an intangible asset are non-monetary, without physical appearance susceptible of economic valuation. This means that although they cannot be seen or touched because of their immaterial nature, they do affect the value of your company.
For an asset to be classified as intangible, it must meet various requirements. First, they must meet the definition of good or asset, that is, those elements controlled by your company which means they have to give some benefit. Finally, they must be identifiable, that can be sold or used by the company itself, or by other corporations, for a specific purpose. On the other hand, it is necessary to clarify that human capital would not fall into this category. Finally, there would be a type of intangible asset that comes from other tangible assets. This is the case of the acquisition of a brand or company by another.
The foundation of any company today lies in differentiation and legitimacy. The first is the ability to differentiate oneself from the competition, allowing a company to generate a unique and exclusive position in the market. The consumer compares existing brands in the market, and has a greater tendency to choose those brands that differ positively from the rest, assuming this differentiation a relevant value. Legitimacy is determined by consideration of the existence of a social contract between the company or organization and the society in which it operates. A good communication consists of the good management of the intangible assets of a company, which means is directly related.

Newsgames are in essence video games, requiring active participation by its users. Without their active input, the story could not be driven forward. Depending on the game mechanics, users may even have to focus and make the “right” decision in order to unfold the narrative.
The example I´ve chose is “ The Uber game”, in the game, you play Uber Driver, a luckless human being who has kids to feed and a $1,000 mortgage payment coming up in a week, so you’re hitting the streets hoping to make enough money in fares to keep yourself in the green. From there, you must choose the right options to maximize your earnings, from choosing to buy a car charger and a data plan to working longer hours to hit bonus quests for extra cash.
The Uber Game has been turned into an educational resource, a non-profit helping young people with their personal finance, created a worksheet for pupils to reflect on their experience after playing the game. At the end of the game, your profits are measured against your costs, and presumably if you hit that $1,000 profit you can make your mortgage payment. The game is a text-based adventure, closer to a visual novel than an actual game.

Today, marketing has evolved, we have gone from a mass marketing where there was no distinction between users and sought to reach the largest number of people, while now we seek a strategy “round” to reach the consumer or user in the best possible way through a good approximation, not only with the media but also through the knowledge of the target we are directing the message. This technique is increasingly complicated because every day we receive thousands of impacts, which is why companies seek to focus on a less intrusive method in which the consumer is attracted to the brand or product without exerting any force on them, this is what we call “inbound marketing”.

On the other hand, The theory of the 6th helps people to be connected to each other and this helps brands to reach more people thanks mostly to social networks, because we are interconnected with each other.

The success of the Internet has been very visible over the past years especially because of the increase of the number of people being able to access to this platform. Just a few years ago, accessing to the Internet and everything related to the digital environment was much more complicated, but nowadays our vision has changed 180 degrees, now we are able to to access it from pretty much everywhere, in fact, everyday is becoming harder to survive without it.
In my opinion the Internet has brought many advances and beneficial aspects, but also some harmful or dangerous ones such as information theft, scams or interpersonal relationships. In many cases, the Internet helps us maintain those long distant relationships, in many others, the Internet isolates and can make us believe a fictitious or parallel reality. In conclusion, the Internet is a very powerful tool with which we must be very careful.
